Remember the days when you were a child? How long summer vacation lasted? How Christmas & your birthday never seemed like they would arrive? Now there is a sweet way for your child to count down the days to all the special events throughout the year. From birthdays & Christmas, to Halloween & Easter. Virtually any special event can be made more tangible to your child with a candy countdown.
You can request individual items or combination items. Christmas & birthday countdowns are offered on an individual basis only. Both can be personalized for your child. More generic countdowns to special holidays can be combined. For example, you may order a pink ribbon to go with both Valentine's Day and Easter, and then request a heart icon and a bunny icon to go along with the one pink ribbon. All countdowns contain a bell at the bottom, just to add to the fun.
Ribbons are $12.00 apiece for each individual order. For combined orders, each ribbon is $10 and any "icon" to go along with the ribbon is just $5.00 extra. Note that up to 31 ties total can be attached to the ribbon--you specify the number needed for the particular countdown. (For example, if your child's birthday is on the 22nd of the month, you can request 22 ties to be attached. If your child's birthday is on the 3rd of the month, you can begin however many days prior to the birthday that you would like.)
Both the Christmas & birthday ribbons include a special countdown poem for your child, located in the hat portion.
Additional ideas would include a countdown to either the first or last day of school, the arrival home of a loved one, a new baby, etc.

thanks for sharing the christmas countdown poem! My husband kept talking about this and how his mother always did a candy countdown for him and his siblings! I am so glad to have found the poem! Merry Christmas!
